Super idea for the dispersed who love and always long for more worship; who remember how blessed those moments of extended times from Mt. of Olives to Kansas City were..
Although my expression of worship seems more and more to be going down mercy street, the harp and bowl reality will have to be there to enable that. Those dying of AIDS in the remote areas can through a touch of worship receive the extension of compassion GOd has for all who love Him. I will be stronger being part of a team like this who I know are sharing moments of worship together..
I look forward to seeing familiar faces, reading articles and staying in touch. Thank you for starting it.

Does your dance team :danceteam: minister in your church's weekly worship service? Or are your contributions occasional, regular (but not weekly) or only on special holidays?
Are you happy or unhappy with the arrangement? Why?
I like the fact that our ministry friends from all over the world can connect with each other here, instead of waiting until circumstances, ministry engagements or schedules can come together. That time zones don't matter....there is always a gathering place where we can sit around our virtual living room and have fellowship.
*I like being able update a hundred times a day, if I want to
*I like that I can edit out my typos or add to a post anytime I want, and there's not a flag at the bottom saying "post has been edited 52 times".
*I like being able to share pictures quickly and easily (now if I could just learn to use the digital camera.....
And......where else do you get to use such a great smilie collection? :brow:
I hope this will become a lively forum where dance ministers can exchange ideas and look for suggestions on their particular ministry concerns. Dance is such a controversial area of worship ministry, that there should always be something to talk about.
I've posted an article about garmenting and modesty that could spark some discussion....or just take off with your own topic!
Talk about how your ministry fits into local church worship, working with other worship ministers, scriptural issues and spiritual growth.
This is a forum for WORSHIPPERS. So all topics having to do with worship are welcome here. Our foundation for discussion will always be bibilical worship, so you are encouraged to back up your points with the scriptures. [Please enjoy using the on-line concordance. The link is above marked with the symbol, and there is also one to the left of your posting screen.] And of course, ZionFire's particular concentration is on Davidic worship, or the worship of the Psalms. In our contributions to this forum, we will always seek to relate to that emphasis.
Dean and I are not promoting ourselves as experts, however it IS our message board, so we reserve the right set some boundaries when necessary to preserve repectful discussion and disagreement. We expect varying points of views and disagreements--in fact, we welcome them. That is how a fruitful discussion progresses. However, we would like to see discussions be self-regulating as much as possible, so I hope we can all agree to always seek to preserve the dignity of the person we are verbally sparring with.
You are encouraged to start your own topics, but it is also perfectly fine to add something cogent onto an old discussion, even if it has been a while since someone has posted on it.
