ZionFire will be joining John Hagee, Sae Reese (Sweet Aroma dance ministry), and possibly Jonathan Settel for a Night to Honor Israel Concert on Nov. 6 at James L. Knight Center in Miami, FL. These events are held by Christians all over the world who want to bless Israel and show love to the Jewish people.

It will be an opportunity to bring pageantry, and be a part of our favorite kind of ministry...blessing God's people.

As we get more details, we'll post them up, but in the meantime, please be praying for this event and the work that the Lord wants to do through it.

Update 10-22-07 We've found out that Jonathan Settel will not be ministering at the Night to Honor Israel event, however he WILL be ministering with us at Alpha Omega Church in Miami for 3 services on Sunday morning (two of which are in Spanish). The services are televised and distributed widely afterward, so we have the potential to minister long beyond our physical time there.

But not in the UK, I'm sorry to say. There is no large-scale support for Israel amongst Christians over here. Most people would give you a very strange look if you suggested holding such an event. Sad but true. I've even considered whether I should try to organise something, but it's too radical a step for an unknown guy like me.

I hope Jonathan Settel will be part of your event as the participation of a messianic believer will send out an important message that is sometimes neglected.

There is apparently a particular stronghold to pray down in the UK, because major blessing comes to the nations that bless Israel, according the scriptural promises.

Now that you mention it, I do remember noticing that there were never very many representatives of the UK believers at the Feast celebrations we attended. It would probably take a big name-sponsored event to bring this kind of attention to the case for blessing Israel .

We have returned exhausted, challenged, and sore after several consecutive days of dancing on concrete, but it was a good ministry time, and also a time to reconnect with old friends.

There was a lot of organizational warfare, but many sweet, giving people who worked together to bring a glorious offering to the Lord. There were some mighty moments in the spirit in the Sunday morning services...and over 70 salvations recorded in a church that regularly sees about 4-5 come to the Lord each Sunday.

The event at the Knight Center was well attended (about 3500, I believe) and well received. There were a group of holocaust survivors from Boca Raton who attended and heard the message of the church's support of Israel, her repentance for those who have persecuted or at the least, not stepped in to help Israel in the past., and the promise that those horrific events would never be allowed to happen again. Honor was indeed given both to Israel and her people, and God was worshipped and celebrated in song and pageantry. It was an excellent event.
