Did a workshop last Saturday and the place turned out to be a rather small church, Large sitting room sized meeting room but with many mod cons! And a low, low ceiling! I was a bit disconcerted because I didn't knw how many were coming but in the end there were three adults (one of whom was great with child so didn't take part!) four adolescant and three pre-school kids. And you know what? the space was exactly right for the party!!! I've found that on all three workshops I've done so far. The Lord sends me exactly the right amount of people for the space I have!! It was a great workshop and I spotted right away one twelve year old lad who was an absolute natural with the flags. It turned out he was the Pastor's son and when I told them how gifted he was and what potential he had albeit ebryonic at present - they exchanged wondrous looks then confessed that they were almost despairing of him excelling at anything. His school work and social skills, etc., were all poor. "He is the original unco-ordinated non-achiever" his mother said "and it's so wonderful to hear that he excells at something!" I was happy to tell them also that not only did he have this gifting, but I prophesied that he would be a mighty man of God with flags when he was older. And this is true - I saw it in the Spirit! Hallelujah! I so love to spot these kids. They have such a heart for flags. On the back of that success where I teamed up with two friends with totally different styles of gifting, we are planning to put on a really big workshop at our church next year and promote it throughout the region. Guess I better get my sewing machine out again!! |

What a great report of God's faithfulness. And it's always exciting for me to be used in that apolostolic way as you were for that young boy. There is great power in "being called out" by a prophetic voice, and I'm sure that that young man's life will be different from here on out because of it. Great to hear that a bigger conference will be built on the foundations of this small one as well. I love it that God brings us through door after door, and we don't have to dream up new ministry opportunities on our own! |

Yeh-bo! Helena. It is great, isn't it? I am also blessed that my knee is so strong and painfree this weekend. I ran upstairs Friday night without even realising it and stopped at the top to praise God for healing me! Don't know long it will last but today it felt like it is permanent! Pray God that it is so! How awesome the workshop will be if I'm going on all cylinders. One thing I didn't say about the tiny w/s, was that my knee was very stiff and sore that day. Hobbling on a walkingstick, it was a real struggle to unload all my gear and get it set up. Then the people arrived and suddenly I was totally released to dance and flag before the Lord and show the visitors what a wonderful experience it can be. Then it was all over and suddenly my knee was all stiff and sore again and I was reduced to hobbling on my walking stick! But with my head held high - God is sooo gracious and He blessed us hugely that day. I have been told that someone vidoed me on their mobile phone and that it was shown to the fellowship the next morning and now they're all on fire for this stuff!! He he!! Wonderful, ain't it!! |
